Uncomfortable shoes are worn by those who pervert the doctrines of God and practice the same. Would you really want to be in their shoes?
Exodus 34:14 ---for you shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God---
Worship is praying to statues, to the virgin Mary, to dead saints, and to anyone or to anything. I would not want to be in the shoes of those who pray to anyone, other than God.
IN THEIR SHOES?
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Why would anyone feel comfortable teaching that Jesus is just one of many ways to God the Father. How would those shoes feel?
IN THEIR SHOES?
1 Peter 3:20-21 ....safely through the water. 21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you---not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience---through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
There are many who teach that water baptism has nothing whatsoever to do with salvation. Would you want to be in their shoes on Judgment Day?
IN THEIR SHOES?
Hebrews 6:4-6 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
The writer of Hebrews makes it clear men can cease to believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. How far would you want to walk in the shoes of those who teach the doctrine of "once in grace always in grace?"
IN THEIR SHOES?
Galatians 5:19-21Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you, that those who practice such thingswill not inherit the kingdom of God.
Even though Paul was addressing Christians in Galatia, many today proclaim; do not worry about sin in your life because we all are sinners. Do you want to be in their shoes?
God did not saved sinners so they could continue to sin.
