Is immersion in water necessary to secure remission of sins?

The Greek word eis here translated for is sometimes translated in the Bible against, among, at, unto,upon,etc...That Scripture, then, does not mean that people ought to be baptized in order to be saved."
This Baptist preacher stopped his research too soon, evidenced by the following translations of God's Word. (Acts 2:38)(EIS)
The New International Version: ..."so that your sins may be forgiven."
Good News for Modern Man: ... "so that you sins will be forgiven."
God's Word Translation: ..."so that your sins will be forgiven."

There are three obvious reason why men deny that WATER BAPTISM is essential to, SECURE REMISSION OF SINS. PRIDE_IGNORANCE_DISHONESTY.
In Peter's sermon and instructions in the 2nd Chapter of Acts there are three things mentioned in order to contact the blood of Jesus. FAITH_REPENTANCE-IMMERSION IN WATER.
NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF CHRIST CAN WASH AWAY SIN!
