It is not difficult to understand why secular humanists deny a six-day 24 hour creation period. They have to discredit God and the Biblical account of creation to make their position credible.
What is perplexing , the number of Christians and religious people who espouse the (secular humanist influenced) view that the earth was created over a span of millions or billions of years.
What does God have to say about it?
Gen 1:3-5 And God said, "Let there be light." and there was light. 4. "God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from darkness. 5. God called the light "day" and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-THE FIRST DAY.
Gen 1:16 God made two great lights-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night....
Would not the sun and the moon cover a 24 hour period?
Gen 1:31 God saw all that he made, and it was good. And there was evening, and morning- the SIXTH DAY.
Gen2:2 By the seventh day God had FINISHED the work he had been doing......
Conclusion: Either trust God's Word or the secular humanists.
