Flame Of faith

*William A Ward once said,  "If the room of your life is filled with the darkness

of despair,  it need not remain so. You have the power to kindle the flame

of faith, to light a candle of hope, to turn on the lamp of love, to pull back the

curtains of fear, to raise the windows of doubt, to unlock the doors of defeat,

and to step out into the street of service."

  

In all our lives, we have been given the power to choose light over

darkness, and life instead of death.  The choices we make will determine

our eternal destiny.   Many times there may seem to be clouds of doubt

where one cannot seem to see the light of day.  Behind every cloud,

we find Jesus.  Our Lord is just a heartbeat away.  When we need

His help, He is an ever present help in time of need and is with

His children every moment  of the day.

  

Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord.   When we walk by faith,

doubt does not have a chance in our lives.   Fears have to leave when

faith is present.   When we let Jesus be Lord of our lives, we know that

all things are possible with God.  We cannot stand on our own without the

help of the Lord, but with His power, we have all we need to live a victorious

life of faith which is pleasing to our Lord.

  

Jesus will light up our lives and fan the flame of faith within our

hearts.  His love will carry us through as we lean on Him and not

to our own understanding.  It's so good to know that when we acknowledge

Him in all our ways, He will direct our paths.  With the Lord leading the

way, we have no reason to fear or falter.  His light will shine brightly

that we may follow on by faith and reach our destination safely.

  

When Jesus is Lord of our life, we will never walk alone.  We have

wonderful promises to claim in the name of Jesus.  Keep walking

on in His strength and power.  Remember, He is walking with

you and you'll never walk alone when Jesus is Lord of your life.

~THE FLAME WITHIN~

Deep within every heart,

there is a flame of faith

which must keep burning brightly

 all along life's narrow way.

When we trust and do not doubt,

the Lord will surely bring us out,

Jesus will safely guide us

as we trust in Him and pray.

The flame within can burn brightly

if we will only believe,

As we fan the flame,

God's promises,  we shall receive.

God's Word is a lamp shining brightly

to guide our feet on right paths,

It is a light in the darkest night,

To keep us from sin and wrath.

So keep the candle burning

 clouds of doubt will soon disappear,

Never fear what tomorrow may hold,

Our God is always near.
