Look To God's Word

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. - Isaiah 34:16

We all face struggles in our daily lives. As I was watching my mother
go through one recently, I asked God to give her something she could
lean on. The following verses are what He gave to her.

Psalm 139:1-36 - O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You
know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all
my ways. (NIV)

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not
on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he
will make your paths straight. (NIV)

Matthew 11:28-30 - Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your
souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (NIV)

Philippians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in
everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(NIV)

These scriptures need no explanation, and they are powerful because
they are God's word. They helped my mother to be victorious in her
struggle. It is my prayer that they will give each of us
encouragement for whatever we face. Let's meditate on these
scriptures and let the Holy Spirit move in us.

What burdens can't we carry? Let's give them to God. Isn't that where
they belong anyway?  Whatever your problem be, you will find the solution in God's Word - (BIBLE) .

Wishing you all Daily Devotionals Readers a Merry Christmas. Keep this Word of God always in your heart. It has the answer to all your questions.
