God Knows Our Thoughts

"O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar, you discern my going out and my lying down, you are familiar with all my ways. - Psalm 139:1-3. (NIV).

God looks to see what is in people's hearts. And He knows what the Spirit is going to do. The Spirit talks to God for God's people. And He asks for them what God wants them to have. - Romans 8:27 (WE)

God knows the thought before we speak the word. Where can we go to flee from the Spirit? Nowhere, we are told. If we go to the mountaintops, He is there. If we go to the depths of the sea, He is there. If we ride a rocket to the moon, He is there. If we build a space station in outer space, He is there. He is the all-knowing Creator of all things.

He also knows our subconscious minds. They are better than tape recorders. They record everything we have ever heard, spoken or thought. We cannot control our minds alone, but God can. He created them the first place. In order to control and clean this stockpile of information, we need the penetrating light of God to reach it. He knows what is in there, and He loves us just the same. He was willing to die for us so that we could receive His light to clean our lives.

If we will let Him in, He'll work in the shadowy depths. If we are Christians, this is His domain.

Even on those days when we feel out of touch with God, He is still within us working, telling us through little pricks of consciousness and loneliness that He is still there, but we must open the door to find him.
